Why Tallow?

The benefits of tallow are endless!  Tallow is incredibly moisturising and nourishing, which can leave your skin feeling soft, plump and supple. It is nutrient dense, containing fat-soluble vitamins A, E, D and K, which can absorb easily into the skin to stimulate collagen production and skin cell renewal. These vitamins also deliver antioxidants to shield the skin from free radical damage and prevent signs of aging.

So I guess you should ask, why not tallow?!

How long does your tallow product last, and how should I store it?

We recommend using our tallow products within six months of receiving them. While tallow can last for a year or more, the absence of preservatives or stabilizers means that improper storage or contamination may cause mold to develop. To ensure the best quality, avoid allowing water to enter the container and store it in a cool, dry place. If you notice any black spots in your product, please discontinue use. Should you receive a product with black spots, contact us immediately for assistance.

What does it smell like?

Will you be attracting the neighbourhood doggos when you go for your hot girl walks?  Definitely not!    Thanks to the way we triple refine our tallow under an incredibly well controlled heat, there is almost no scent at all. It is best described as a very subtle earthy scent. It is perfect for those who are looking to avoid fragranced skincare. 

Can I use it for cooking? I am eliminating seed oils!

Please don’t use your tallow soap or skincare for cooking!       We may consider bringing out food grade tallow for cooking purposes if the interest is there, so head to our Contact page and let us know! 

Will you do other scented soaps?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of using organic essential oils, the bars of scented soap turn out to be quite expensive to produce. However, again, if the interest is there, please head to our contact page and let us know, we are absolutely more than willing to create custom bars of soap.

OF COURSE!!! We are more than happy to have you pick up your order, we can accept cash on pick up, and even complete a contact-free pick up!  Same goes for free delivery at our discretion.  If you’re located in South West Victoria, Australia, reach out!
